Raceway Size, Shape, & Dimensions
Superior Raceways are available in an infinite variety of sizes and shapes, including unlimited length. They can be wide or narrow, shallow or deep. Importantly, Superior Raceways can be used with stationary docks (posts or pipes in or on the ground) or floating docks. They can also be used to economically improve older in-ground or concrete raceways. Our standard size raceways and "Pods" are listed below. If you have a specific project in mind, give us a call.
We can help you determine the best dimensions for your application.

Sediment Collection/Crop "Pods"
Please see photo in our Photo Gallery. These floating, self-supporting units are designed to serve as sediment collection pods, and/or for raising secondary crops such as shellfish, detritus-eating fish, or vegetation. This outside-the-raceway sediment collection system offers many advantages.
The units are built to match your raceways’ width and depth, and should be considered a valuable option for improved environmental and financial management. Potential Benefits:
· Potential to re-capture up to 65% of nutrients fed in main raceway.
· Potential to capture pond water nutrients contained in pond water plankton.
· Improved water quality in main raceway.
· Connectable in series and interchangeable.
· Reasonably priced and available as an “add-on” option at a later time.
